Which phones/tablets is the Sana device compatible with?

The Sana device is compatible with both Android and Apple phones that have operating systems of iOS 9 or greater or Android 5 or greater.

Where can I download the Sana Relief app?

To download the Sana Relief app, you can go to either the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android) and search “Sana Relief” and it will bring up the app for you to download. Alternatively, if you click the link on our website footer, it will take you straight to the app page to download.

How do I download the Sana Relief app?

To download the Sana Relief app, you will first need to locate the app in the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android) by searching “Sana Relief”. Once you have located the app, press the “GET” button and it will download the app to your phone. When the download is complete, you can open the app and set up your account.

Why do I need an app?

The Sana Relief app is needed to help you start your Sana Relief session, which initiates the audiovisual relief session on your Sana device. Additionally, the app offers useful data tracking, showing enhanced trends views of your self-reported measures of sleep, pain, and mood.

Headphone Compatibility

Do I really need the headphones?

Yes. For optimal experience and benefit, you should always use headphones.

Can I use my own headphones?

Yes, however Bluetooth headphones are not compatible. Ensure that your headphones are plugged into the Sana device and not your phone/tablet.

How do I know if my headphones will work?

When using the Sana device, you should connect your headphones to the audio jack located on the bottom of the Sana device near the charging port. You can use the headphones supplied or your own. The volume should be loud enough for you to clearly hear the supplied tones. Volume adjustment buttons are located on the top left of the Sana device. The button nearest your ear turns the volume down, the one nearest the center of your forehead turns the volume up. Press and hold to adjust the volume quickly. Press and release for fine adjustment.

Can I use Bluetooth headphones with the Sana device?

At this time, you will need to use corded headphones/earbuds. You can use the headphones included with your Sana device or any other corded headphones you prefer.

Which headphones will work?

We recommend using noise-canceling headphones, but they are not essential. The headphones will need a 3.5mm headphone connection. The Sana device is not compatible with Bluetooth headphones.

What is active noise cancelation?

Active noise cancellation reduces unwanted ambient sounds around you.

Do I need active noise cancellation?

You do not need active noise cancellation. However, we do recommend it.
